Excerpt

Releasing my hands, he pulls my dress over my head and runs his hands across my black bra and gives my breasts a quick squeeze. When he reaches my panties, he slides his hand inside and cups my pussy, sliding one, then a second finger inside of me. My eyes close momentarily while I absorb the exquisite feeling of him inside me. It’s been too long.

“That’s my vixen. Wet as fuck and just aching for me to make you scream. My fingers are the only ones that ever belong in your pussy, Cassidy.” Chuckling, he corrects himself, “Well, mine and yours. You know how much I love watching you finger yourself until you come.”

“Zack.” His name falls easily from my mouth as he continues to finger me. There’s no way anyone could ever make me feel as amazing as he does. He’s right—he’s the only one for me, the only one I could ever love. I know that more and more with every passing second we spend here, but I still have a secret to tell him.

One that will change everything.

As he slowly pulls his fingers out of me, he brings them to his mouth one by one, tasting each one slowly, savoring the taste of me on his tongue. It’s as if he’s enjoying his favorite dessert, the eroticism of the moment is heady.

“Fuck, I’ve missed tasting you on my lips, and I’ve really missed running my tongue along your sweet, tight pussy as you come all over my face.”

Suddenly, he flips me around, holding both wrists in a single hand above my head with my face against the wall. His teeth bite down onto my shoulder but he soothes the pain with a swipe of his tongue and with the touch of his kiss against it.
“Perhaps I should punish you for running. What do you think? What should the punishment be for delayed sexual gratification?” Zack’s punishments are filled with pleasure and just the thought of it makes me want him even more. With my history, there’s no spanking, but the exquisite pleasure he brings me while he has me tied up is incredible.

Excerpt:
Rylee bounces out the door and bounds down the stairs before our feet even hit the first step. I’m sure she’s trying to sneak in a kiss before we get there.
“She was talking about what I think she was right?”
“What sex?” I answer teasing him.
He shudders with just the thought “Yeah”
“Of course she was,” I answer with a laugh
“So sick, I figured as much” he mutters.
“Don’t worry Zack, I’ll never tell your sister how well you wield your mighty sword.”
He stops in his tracks halfway down the stairs cracking up. “Oh my God Cassidy that’s fucking classic! I almost wish you could, just so I could see her expression.” Then he whispers seductively in my ear, “But if that’s how you’re going to describe my fucking magnificent cock, I really hope it’s in jest.” He nips the tip of my earlobe and sucks on my neck pulling me closer to him. His magnificent cock is pushing against my hip making sure I’m aware his description is indeed accurate.
“Yes it’s just a joke. But you’d understand why if you could have heard her description of…” “Lalalalala” he cuts me off with his fingers in his ears and bounds down the stairs. “Oh gross! Seriously? Come on! Pete we’re about to eat. Damn Ry, you’re making me lose my appetite.”
Oops, guess he walked in on them anyway.
“Paybacks a bitch big brother get used to it.” Rylee tosses back at him as I walk right past the kitchen and out to the patio. I’m starving and this will either end quickly or go on all night.
Pete exits the house right behind me and takes a seat, followed by Ry and Zack.
“There’s not enough bleach in the world for my eyes after that.” Zack complains as I begin dishing out food.
“Stop whining Zack, it was just tongue. I’ve seen you with your ass in the air mid thrust so don’t talk to me about bleach.” Rylee pretends to stick her finger down her throat and gag. Zack does have the decency to look embarrassed, but it only lasts a second.
“If you would have knocked first that wouldn’t have happened.” He taunts and she rolls her eyes at him. I love how Pete just stays quiet and sips on his beer.
“New house rules starting now, no one gets to fuck in our house but us.”
“Seriously Zack? We weren’t fucking, not even close to it.” Ry snaps back at him
“I know,” he says with a smile “I’m just making a pre-emptive strike in case you get too drunk to drive tonight.”
“If I get too drunk to drive tonight I’ll call a cab, because I’m definitely getting fucked.”
Both Pete and I respectively choke, him on his beer and me on my salad. Zack gives Pete a long glare and Pete just shrugs. Damn I think I love him already.
“You just said I couldn’t break her heart, you didn’t say I couldn’t make her scream.” Pete points out hysterically. Hell, I’m laughing so hard I’m crying at this point.

  Genre: Contemporary Romance
  Publisher: Samhain Publishing
She doesn’t need a hero. But a sexy Marine…that’ll work.
At twenty nine, psychologist Lauren Baxter has a successful counseling practice. Since becoming legally blind at fifteen, her world has been a blurry mess of colors. Her greatest fear is also her ultimate reality. One day that fuzzy realm will forever turn black. Refusing to let blindness define her, she builds a life for herself with her dog, Jack Sparrow, and best friend, Sunny Daye.
Lauren has no tolerance for pity or for Superman swooshing down and rescuing her. She is capable of saving herself just fine. That is until Gabe, the great smelling, former Marine, from Texas moves in next door. Her attraction to him is immediate and, unfortunately for her, mutual. When Lauren’s ex-husband shows up begging for another chance, she is confused and fragile. She also finds herself in the arms of her secretive neighbor. Little does she realize that her decision for a steamy roll in the hay with Gabe will suck her into his mysterious past, thrust her ex-husband back into her life, put her in the middle of a murder investigation, and place her life in danger.
Gabriel Briggs has the weight of the world on his shoulders. Short term flings are all he can afford for more reasons than one – reasons he never plans to share. Until he moves in next door to the beautiful, green eyed, feisty, Lauren. One night with her and he’s reconsidering promises he made almost a decade ago. When a woman from his past is murdered, his world is turned upside down. Secrets are revealed and innocent lives are threatened. Can Gabe win Lauren’s love and save her life before it’s too late?
Product Warnings: Contains a blind therapist who doesn’t consider herself impaired; a meddling, erotic-novel-writing best friend; a hot ex-Marine with a shady past; and a loyal guide dog that howls “I love you” and is probably the sanest one of the bunch.

Excerpt: Her chocolate German shepherd, Jack Sparrow, nudged her leg as soon as she approached the front door. After rubbing his neck, she grabbed hold of his harness and stepped outside.
A beautiful mix of greens and blues touched with red swirled around her. After several blinks, her eyes adjusted to the brightness. She pointed in the direction of the neighboring townhome.
“Jack, Mrs. Rourke’s door.” A pang of guilt ran through her. She and her former neighbor had been close until Lauren placed her in a nursing home. It was one of the hardest things she’d ever done, but when an eighty-five-year-old woman sat in one’s kitchen butt naked talking about the weather, it left few options.
Jack tried to warn her but she ignored him and sent the poor dog to the backyard. She cringed at the memory of Mrs. Rourke’s bare skin under her hands when she hugged the old woman; it was one she wouldn’t soon forget. Since the episode, Lauren made a concerted effort to pay better attention to her guide dog’s whimpers and barks.
Together they made their way across the lawn. Once at the door, Jack sat down and waited for her to do the rest. Taking a deep gulp of fresh Denver air, she held it for a few seconds before slowly releasing.
Calm and patient.
That’s the person I am and that’s the person he’ll see.
Lauren felt the wall for the doorbell and pressed the plastic control. A few dozen doorbell presses later, realization hit. If he’s banging away in there, how’s he going to hear the doorbell? She slammed her knuckles into the wood for what seemed like an eternity but still no response.
Okay, time for Plan B. Since her home connected to the demolition man’s, they shared a common backyard.
“Jack. Home.”
He rose, maneuvering them back. Together, they marched into their townhouse, through the living room, and out the backdoor. Jack guided them across the lawn, straight to the offender’s patio. She banged her knuckles against the glass pane. After they were raw and felt like they were on fire, his hammering stopped. A few minutes later, she heard the sound of plastic blinds shifting. Lauren plastered on her biggest smile and waved. Metal slid against wood and the door opened.
The faint smell of sandalwood mixed with cedar filled her lungs. It was the same scent she’d gotten whiffs of the past four weeks since he’d moved in.
“Can I help you?” His soft Southern drawl flowed through her skin, warming her face. The image of a shirtless man in a cowboy hat and jeans leaning against the doorjamb popped into her head. For a moment, she forgot why she’d come.
“Umm, hi, I’m Lauren.”
“Hello, Lauren.” The amusement in his voice pulled her out of her cowboy fantasy.
Jack nudged her leg, reminding her they were there on business, not to drool. “I live in the townhouse next to yours.”
“I see you two jogging the park in the evenings.” From the angle of his voice, he sounded about six feet tall. She could hear the smile in his words. When he shifted his weight, the doorjamb squeaked. She wondered if his shoulder leaned against it, like the half-naked cowboy in her head.
Thank God I changed out of my onesie.
“They have some nice jogging trails.” Her voice came out husky and she caught herself playing with her hair when she responded.
What the hell?
Lauren dropped her arm and grabbed a fistful of her jeans to curb her need to twirl, flick or touch her hair—or him for that matter.
“I maht have to try them out.”
Maht? Yup, definitely a country boy. Images of tight jeans and cowboy hats filled her thoughts.
He cleared his throat. “Would you like to come in?”
Her heart thudded and her palms moistened at the prospect.
Yes…
“No, I wanted to ask a favor.”
“A favor?” The evil man continued his flirty tone, successfully melting her organs. “What kind of…favor?” The way he said the word had her brain exploring all the inappropriate things he could do with her—for her.
Stop it! You are stronger than this. Focus.
Lauren cleared her throat for the hundredth time. “I work from home and spend most of the day on the phone with clients.”
He chuckled. “Ahh. So putting in crown molding isn’t helpful, is it?”
Her stomach fluttered.
Speechless, she smiled and shook her head.
“Well, what time are you finished with work?”
“Five, tonight. But it varies.”
“So if I work on the molding after five…”
“I’ll be very grateful,” Lauren finished.
“How about giving me your number so next time I have a project I can find out your schedule before I start?”
Wait? Was that a line or sarcasm? He can’t be hitting on me.
No. It made total sense he needed her number. After all, sometimes she did have evening clients. “Okay, you want to get a pen?”
“I’ll remember.”
Lauren’s face heated.
Yup, he’s flirting.
She wiped her clammy palm on Jack’s back and rattled off the digits.
“I’m Gabe, by the way.”
“Hi, Gabe, and thank you.” She turned to rush away before she agreed to more than her phone number.
“Lauren?”
Damn.
“Since you’re done with work at five, how would you like to go to dinner with me tonight?’”

blurb
Due to explicit language, sexual content, and dark themes, reader discretion is advised.
When Taylor was four years old, she became an orphan and her childhood spiraled into darkness. She spent years lying, hiding, and avoiding any love offered to her until she was old enough to run away from all the threats of her past.
Now twenty-two, Taylor doesn’t think she’s worth more than being the kind of girl a guy hooks up with in the back room of a bar after her band plays. She definitely isn’t the one you bring home to meet Mom and Dad.
An unlikely rescue puts her in Ethan’s sight. He’s her total opposite, though. Ethan is a sexy dork who sees beyond Taylor’s guarded exterior. He sees past the tattoos and piercings. He sees her.
But they both have secrets capable of destroying their relationship. And if Taylor’s past ever catches up with her, the consequences could be deadly.

excerpt
My breath caught when he stood behind me to look over my shoulder. We weren’t touching, but my skin broke out in goosebumps and my body ached for contact with his. Heat swirled in my stomach at the thought. How easy would it be to lean back against that awesome chest and have those killer arms hug me? I gripped the table to keep myself from doing anything stupid.
“Beautiful,” he said softly.
“Cool.” I shined the enlarger on the paper and picked up the photo after I turned it off. Ethan was still behind me, and I swallowed as I turned around. Looking at him in this sexy orange lighting was really—
A quiet popping noise invaded our silent room, and the orange light went out, leaving us in darkness. I flinched in surprise, brushing against Ethan. He put his hands on my arms. "The light burned out."
I laughed, trying to distract myself from my tingly arms. "Yeah, Captain Obvious. I can tell."
He laughed softly. "I have another one, I'll go change it. We just have to..." His grip tightened, and he drew me closer to him as he turned me so we switched places. One hand moved off my arm and to my back as his voice dropped. "Trade places. Because it’s on the shelf.”
"Right," I whispered. When he moved us, I dropped the paper, but I really couldn’t have cared less now that his arms were around me. Without thinking, I reached out and held my breath when my fingers brushed against smooth skin. I trailed to the side and found his hair. Moving along the side of his face, I stopped right before his chin and hesitated. Touching him was so ballsey. He might not want me doing this.
When I stopped, he let out a soft groan, and his fingers moved under the hem of my shirt, barely grazing the skin of my lower back. I took a shaky breath and raised my other hand, tracing the planes of his face, the one line across his forehead, the rise and fall of his glasses, the bridge of his nose, and the indent in his chin, so slight it was barely noticeable. His thin top lip. His full bottom one. Over and over again, and his breaths came out deep as his fingers kept moving lightly against my bare skin.
I whimpered as he put his other hand on the side of my face. Fucking whimpered.
“I like this,” he whispered as his fingers followed my eyebrows, over the piercing and down toward my cheek.
I kept tracing his lips as he touched me, all too aware of the strong ache between my legs. “Me too,” I breathed.
My pulse echoed in my head as his hand rested under my chin with his thumb on my lip ring. Neither one of us moved.
I couldn’t fucking handle it anymore. “Ethan?”
“Yes?” his soft voice replied.
“Kiss me already.”

AN EXCERPT
It was New Year’s Eve. Troy had wanted us to join him at a frat party, but I knew Rory would feel more comfortable ringing in the New Year just
the two of us. The restaurant was packed with people who either had the same idea as us, or who just wanted to take advantage of the free New Year’s Eve beer sampler. I parked my truck in the back of the restaurant, which stood like a giant two-story box in the center of a dark corner lot.
The front of the restaurant was lit up by a gaudy neon sign and the sodium yellow glow of a solitary street lamp. But the back of the restaurant was flush in dark-blue shadow, and the occasional glint of moonlight on chrome. There was one other car parked back there, but it was a brand new Lincoln SUV. Probably belonged to the manager or the owner of the restaurant. They wouldn’t come out until the place closed down at two or three in the morning.
“Do you think they’ll have champagne?” Rory asked, grabbing her phone out of her purse and tossing the handbag into the truck cab.
“Doesn’t matter. You won’t be able to drink it,” I said, reaching into the cab to grab an old blanket I kept back there out of habit, tossing it on top of her purse to further conceal it.
“You don’t know that. I don’t always get carded.”
I can barely see the arc of her cheekbones through the hazy moonlight. “I don’t know. It’s New Year’s Eve. They might let you slide.” I reach forward, my fingertips skimming over her knee-high tights, landing softly on the top of her thigh. “Or they might take one look at you in that skirt and those schoolgirl socks and decide you’re just too much of a risk.”
Rory and I had never role-played, but ever since I saw her slink into this outfit, I’d thought of nothing else but bending her over a desk and fucking her as if our grades depended on it. Being three years apart, Rory and I didn’t share any classes. But that didn’t change the fact that I thought of nothing but her while sitting through hours of boring lectures. Fucking her in that schoolgirl outfit would make up for all the times I’d sat in class trying my damnedest not to get hard while fantasizing about her mouth around my cock.
I began sliding my fingers beneath her wool tartan skirt, but she grabbed my hand. “Stop trying to distract me.”
She threw open the passenger door and twisted around to get out. My eyes locked on the curve of her hips, the bounce of her ass as she plopped down onto the asphalt. It hadn’t quite been twenty-four hours since we’d last fucked, but I was already hungry for her again. I stepped out the truck and headed her off near the tailgate.
“What are you doing?” she said, making a move to sidestep me.
I moved with her, my hands reaching forward to grab her waist. “Don’t move.”
“Houston.”
My gaze fell on her chest, the rise and fall of those soft mounds. The way they curved down into her waist made me dizzy. The snug cream sweater she wore left just enough to the imagination. My eyes raked over her entire body, landing on her lips, my mind lingering on the memory of the sweet taste of her. Finally, I looked up, and the moment our eyes met she knew.
Her arms stretched up, latching onto my neck as I bent down, my arms locking around her thighs to lift her up. Her legs clenched around my waist as our mouths collided in a hot fervor of passion. I carried her past my truck, toward the back wall of the restaurant, my muscles saturated in my need for her.
“What if we get caught?” she whispered.
I pressed her against the brick wall, leaning my weight into her as I kissed her deep and hard. Without saying a single word, I was answering her question: Who gives a fuck?
“Fuck me,” she breathed as I ground my hips into the wet cotton of her panties.
“Not yet. I want to watch you come undone.”
I set her down on the asphalt and knelt before her. Her chest heaved with anticipation as she watched me lift the edge of her skirt. Sliding my hand behind her thigh, I lifted her leg to rest it on top of my shoulder, opening her up to me.
“Oh, God,” she whimpered, as I slid her panties to the side.
